Harvey Weinstein Fired!!

Tools

Now everyone has a phone, and a way to connect with thousands of people at once. Campaigns are a snap of the finger away if you have the confidence of friends, family and contacts. In this day and age, it's imperative that people be on their best behavior. Even then there are traps set from evil people who orchestrate destruction, but in a court of law, I'm guessing it helps to have a clear conscience.

I wonder what Uma Thurman will reveal:

On another note, jeez, she is so beautiful!!

Oh man, she's got her pistols COCKED! She is sexy...she's a great actor, too. I'm on the edge of my seat for her brew. She looks like she's ready to chop up a Weinstein or two and boil them in a hanging black pot!

This is some good insight into the ongoing parade of women speaking up...shame that Quentin cashed in before he spoke up, but hell, he's not a very important director so, whatever..he's a child...as you will see..

Oh gee, sorry D. Havent slept much the last month.

Uma sure grew up.

I believe that Frances Farmer ran into a similar situation.
Although she did not mention it directly or accuse any one per say, that I know off, Hollywood Execs made it a priority to have her committed to an insane asylum, where she suffered a lobotomy.
Form what I read of Frances, she appeared a very intelligent and independent woman but nowhere did I find that she was insane.

Ha, no worries
She looks and sounds enraged. I will be sad if she had to endure what I think she might have. In a weird way, it does make me feel better that she is angry rather than hurt or devastated.

I would say Frances Farmer was in an even worse situation because the press in those days was in cahoots with the big studios and when she disobeyed the studio, they all completely destroyed her in more ways than one. She had pretty much no one on her side, not even her mother. Whether she had a lobotomy, I believe, is still not proven 100%, but she endured terrible treatment when she was committed. She was way ahead of her time and just painfully beautiful.

You should really watch the movie "Frances" if you have not already. I feel it is one of the best performances in acting I have ever seen and Jessica Lange was magnificent in it. The actress playing her mother, Kim Stanley, was amazing as well.

This is getting ridiculous. I say that because I wonder how this slime has continued to thrive and abuse for so long.

It cannot be just about money - there are too many people that would never put money above morals and pride.

Yes, there are many that probably felt they had to pay to play and were told that it was how it was, but I bet there were quite a few that would not pay.

So it gets scary then - is it about safety? Being afraid for oneself and or family?

There is way more to this than what is being told -

I bet Vegas is involved.

Yeah, I've seen the movie. Jessica Lange was great and just like Jane Fonda proved she is not just a pretty face.

Frances is a brilliant. Movie.

Just terrifying. And you wonder why Rose McGowan is often lambasted for being paranoid and crazy. She lived it.

Oh, I've seen it. I actually think it might be something big.

"...I said I was angry recently, and I have a few reasons, #metoo, in case you couldn’t tell by the look on my face.
I feel it’s important to take your time, be fair, be exact, so... Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! (Except you Harvey, and all your wicked conspirators - I’m glad it’s going slowly - you don’t deserve a bullet) -stay tuned
Uma Thurman..."

I think it's something big as well - about his buddies. I'm going to hell for this but the bullet comment made me stifle a laugh. She looks really ready to go for it.

I have no doubt she is probably consulting a team of lawyers and publicists to make sure it is all substantiated and the story unravels on her own terms. I hope she exposes more names. Sometimes I worry that a few of these individuals, such as Weinstein, will get scapegoated but the ones with no fame will remain in the background doing their dirty work. I hope not. It certainly seems like a turning point.
