What's your unpopular movie opinion?

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
The internet is not the place for high level discussion about anything.
Except for porn, apparently. Seriously, though. I'm surprised by the level of some subreddits. Sure, there's a lot of crap you have to dig through before you find gold, but it's worth it.

No Country for Old Men - I like Javier Bardem character and performance but, not the overall movie. Critical acclaim? WTF?

Terminator 1 is better than Terminator 2.
Terminator 3 isn't as good as the previous movies but, still a good entertaining movie and... way better than Salvation and Genisys.
I don't want another Terminator movie, even if James Cameron directs/writes/produces. I prefer more Sarah Connor Chronicles.

James Cameron's best movies are Terminator 1 and The Abyss. Titanic and Avatar are crap.

I want a new Konan movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as King Konan. Please, enough with the f_cking Terminator already!

Watchmen is a good movie. One of the best comic book movies... ever.

The Godfather 3 is a good movie but, not as good as the previous one. I don't hate it or consider it crap.

Traffic isn't a good movie. Critical acclaim? WTF?

The Revenant isn't a good movie. Leo and Tom did great though.

Interstellar is better than Gravity. Sandra shouldn't have been nominated for Oscar. George should have been nominated for Oscar. George real scene stealer in this movie.

I like Alien: Covenant. Not the best entry in the series but, way better than Alien: Resurrection.

Bound is the best movie by The Wachowskis. The Matrix is pretty close though.

Ghost in the shell (1995) is a masterpiece. However, I like Ghost is the Shell (2017).

Lord of the Rings trilogy is overrated.

People state Rey from Star Wars Episode VII is a 'Mary Sue'. If Rey would have been a man, he wouldn't have been considered a 'Gary Stu'.

Well duh! Totally agree, why was Sandra nominated again? was that a non-acting nomination? Maybe for best space hair? Interstellar is much better. Hell, Apollo 18 is much better than Gravity.

Terminator 1 is the consensus best Cameron film. That's not unpopular.

And Interstellar being better than Gravity is the consensus as well. Gravity was awful.

Welcome to the human race...
The Terminator may well be the best Cameron film, but I wouldn't think of it as the popular consensus pick - seems like more people would give the edge to the sequel or perhaps Aliens (e.g. on the IMDb 250). Kind of like arguing that Memento is the best Christopher Nolan film.

Jim Carrey deserved an Oscar nomination for Truman Show, and another nomination and win for Man On The Moon

Sylvester Stallone deserved the Oscar for Best Screenplay for Rocky (1976), and for Best Supporting Actor for Creed (2015)

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is a criminally overrated steaming pile of sh_t. Critical acclaim? WTF? Millions of fans? Nerds!

I've only seen one Lord of the Rings, and I can't remember which it was. It's just not my thing.

who complains about nerds on a twenty-year-old message board
Yeah, I just read that part. That was uncalled for. I mean, for the millions who love LOTR, that's fine. I'm not gonna degrade them because I've barely seen any of them. They're just not movies I'm interested in, but it doesn't mean they're not quality.

Adding to the list:

1. Goodfellas wasn't the best movie of the 90s. LA Confidential is better, and I think better by a decent margin.
I never really got the love for Goodfellas, I liked Casino better.

I wouldn't agree with that part. Goodfellas is superior to Casino in every way. It's not that I don't think highly of Goodfellas, I just think extremely highly of LA Confidential.

Not a 90s movie, but There Will Be Blood is better than Goodfellas as well.

“Sugar is the most important thing in my life…”
Since when was Casino not microwaved Goodfellas leftovers?

Titanic and Avatar are crap.
Everyone says this... and I would have to agree.
Watchmen is a good movie. One of the best comic book movies... ever.
I concur.

The Revenant isn't a good movie. Leo and Tom did great though.
If had a nickle for every time I've heard this one, lmfao.
(Leo wasn't that great though... Hardy outclassed that phony.)
