Yeah, that would be the traditional time to eat them.

My grandmother says S'rimp. without the H.

That's how she pronounces scone.

And Americans pronounce it 'biscuit'.

What, she pronounces scone as srimp? That's a bit, urghhh...odd

Which is from the French for twice-baked.

I liked the crisps when I was a kid where you had to search for the wee blue packet of salt.

Someone should start a thread - with photos - of their favorite pubs. Their local, but also those lovely country pubs. I can't do it because I left England 40 years ago.

Sour Cream and Onion of course. Lays are good, but I kinda like Pringles better.

Those are only chips when served with deep fried battered fish. Otherwise they're fries.

When we were in Indianapolis the waiter asked me what day we left Sydney. I said Tuesday (pronounced Tyu sday. He misheard and pointed to the cheese at the breakfast buffet and said every day is Cheese Day. LOL. I said I was talking about the day of the week. He said Oh you mean Toosday.
