Places To Watch Online Movies Free Without Registration

Tools

Usually when I want to watch a movie I just search it up on Google and I can often find it on some site for free. Sometimes it comes easy, other times not. I try to find it on sites that do not require a "registration" because they ask for your credit card info. which I am very uncomfortable sharing. I am worried about such "free" sites. There are usually many pop up ads, as well. Most of the time I run into trouble with movies that appear to still be copyrighted. I've seen some movies on youtube, but in foreign languages, or no sound, weird. One such movie I struggled HARD to find was "Harry and Tonto" starring Art Carney. I found it on one site after looking at maybe 50(I'm not kidding). The site had pop up ads, some pornographic, and they all keep telling you to update your Java or Adobe Flash Player, or sometimes I get redirected to sites that have nothing to do with movies. It appears Harry and Tonto is still under copyright, but I was able to watch it free, but it took me tremendous effort. I am thinking of avoiding all this hardship and just subscribing to Netflix. They appear to air almost everything under the sun, even copyrighted movies. And the $7.99 a month is not too bad. Any better deal than this? I haven't found any, except to stumble on these "free" sites. I also have found a lot free on a site called ffilms.org. I want to find a site that is reliable, not dangerous to use, and of course free, with a vast library of movies. I've looked at some youtube videos that claim to show you "free" sites, but have been very disappointed by what they recommend. Most don't deliver, and those that do haven't had the movies I wanted(I am into mostly old flicks). Where do YOU go when you want to watch a movie? Do you look for free sites or pay for something like Netflix or Amazon?
Anything else you can share with me on this subject would be most appreciated. I hope this is an "appropriate" question to ask on this site. If not, I apologize. And not sure if this is the forum to put this type question in. If not, sorry, please redirect it to the appropriate forum.
Thank you very much for helping me out with this.

I just saw this in the rules of the forum:

No Illegal Movie Downloads
Though discussions about the issue itself are permitted, asking where you can download movies illegally, or linking to such sites, is not allowed under any circumstance.

This is NOT what I am searching for here. So I assume my post would be allowed.

Ruth we can talk about the morality/legality of downloading 'free' movies, but we can not mention sites by names or post links. But you didn't do that.

I get most all of my DVD movies from my local library and from Netflix DVD service which is actually called DVD.Com. You can also stream legally from Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and a bunch more places.

I've used Netflix for several years now. One thing I've found is that they sometimes make movies and TV series/episodes available for streaming only sporadically, and not always predictably. So I would suggest including DVD service in your account. It costs a few more bucks a month, depending on how many discs you want to have out at a time, but the price isn't unreasonable.

Go to alluc.ee, its a search engine, you can find anything on there streams and downloads.

Go to Google and type in "pubfilm".

I use it on my computer as well as my ps4. Gotta fight with pop ups sometimes but overall it's been great and has almost everything new, as well as older stuff.

There's a select number of films that can actually be found on YouTube for free (i.e. not in YouTube Red). As far as I can tell, it's a pretty small selection though, mainly including older films from Japan and the Soviet Union.

Are they subtitled?
Assuming you were replying to my post, yes, the ones I was referring to did have English subtitles. There are also some other foreign-language films which are on YouTube but only without English subtitles.

I checked all suggested and found alluc.ee phenomenal! Everything(but one) was on there, and sometimes on multiple sites. Any more ideas for "movie search engines" like this? Thanks for your help.

Agree.

There is stagevu.com, it may be illegal maybe not. I used a site called wipfilms.net for a while but, the jpeg images carried viruses; so this too is a risky option, it is a great reference site for finding obscure titles. I know of no others.
