Am I doing bad work on my recasts?
Sometimes I find that I haven't seen a lot of the films or I just don't know the actors, so it's difficult to comment that often and give a knowledgeable response.

E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial (2008)

Elliott: Asa Butterfield

Michael: Ansel Elgort

Gertie: Isabella Acres

Mary: Vera Farmiga

Keys: John Slattery

Girl who Elliott kisses in class: Chloe Grace Moretz

E.T. (Voice): Andy Serkis

I got into an argument with someone who dislikes recasts, who had insulted the ones I had made. He convinced several others to gang up on me (which, on the site, is illegal), accused me of being a troll, and I was kicked out by a moderator, without being able to defend myself.

My life's a disaster zone.
Heat.

Hanna - Christian Bale
McCaughley - Tom Hardy

Controversial I know selecting British actors for these roles but imagine Bale's manic performance as Hanna (originally played by Al Pacino). I'm thinking something like his American Psycho shouting 'DON'T WASTE MY M********KING TIME!'. Then picture Tom Hardy as the brooding, calculating bank robber McCaughley (originally played by Robert DeNiro). The café scene would be fantastic;

Bale: So you didn't want no regular type life?
Hardy: What's that? Barbecues and ball-games?

Could be pretty cool...

You know, I say that Daniel Day-Lewis would be a good Kylo Ren in the late 80s.
John Cusack popped into my head for some reason – maybe it's because of the comedic flair of Driver.

Kylo Ren's slashing up of computer equipment reminded me of Bad Cop's chair-throwing in The Lego Movie.

I'm not too familiar with John Cusack, other than Grosse Pointe Blank and Con Air.
