I was on imdb today and saw a post for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 2- The Green Destiny (probably won't be the final title but that's not the point). In the article they compared it to Hangover 3 and Fast and Furious 6 in unnecessary sequels. However, Crouching Tiger is part 4 in a 5 part story so I don't see it as unnecessary.
Oh and Ang Lee isn't going to direct it.
I would like to state that I did not like Crouching Tiger at all. However, I am looking forward to this because the director (Yuen Woo-ping) has made some awesome wuxia films and awesome martial arts films (Iron Monkey, Tai-Chi Master, Drunken Master). Michelle Yeoh is the only one from the original cast so far but I'm still looking forward to it.
