Adam's Rib (1949)
George Cukor / United States

Although humorous in parts I didn't find this film to be anything too special.

Badlands (1973)
Terrence Malik / United States

A fantastic character study with themes that reminded me a lot of Natural Born Killers. Fantastically acted and written!

Death Race 2000 (1975)
Paul Bartel / United States

A very fun film which is far better than its modern rehashes. I have chosen and will be presenting this one at my film society next week, so will be watching it for a third time!

Love seeing that rating for Death Race 2000 (though, let's face it, it should be higher) but I'm even more pleased to see you're showing it to others.

I like Badlands, too, but who cares about that when we're talking Death Race 2000. That's top 10 stuff, baby!

Requiem for a Dream (2000)
Darren Aronofsky / United States

This is among my favorite drug related films.

Probably one of my favorites from Tarantino.

Reservoir Dogs (1992)
Quentin Tarantino / United States

Tarantino's debut is certainly not one to miss.

Badlands is a brilliant debut by Malick and indeed a great character study with a really good atmosphere. Requiem for a Dream I loved, bu haven't had the urge to watch it again though, if you know what I mean. Didn't like Hateful Eight too much myself. Reservoir Dogs is another great debut and your rating and mine are about the same.

Good stuff, Rhys!

"""" Hulk Smashhhh."""
