A young woman moves to a small town with her boy. She gets fired from a cafe for being late for work because she stopped to help an older woman who was in a car wreck. The older woman and her husband own a gift shop and their son from out of town visits them. They're trying to find out who the young woman was who saved the older woman's life at the wreck so they could thank her. The young woman's boy and the older couple's grown up son meet each other and become friends. (The young woman and the shop owner's son have the romance.) The young woman eventually discovers that her new boss at the bakery is actually her grandmother.
