Yeah those sequels ones were in box sets so I nabbed them.


HMV had Sin City and Sin City 2 separately on a 2 for £10 offer... and the box set with both was only £7.
Box set then, saves me £3 which I bought Logan's Run with

That's a great way to spend £3.

I did a similar thing with El Mariachi. That, Desperado and Once Upon A Time In Mexico for a fiver. El Mariachi was £6.

I got the El Mariachi and Desperado double set. Wasn't a fan of Mexico so never bought it.


Some really good deals in HMV right now though, I might go back this week and scour for some more. I mean, £3 for Logan's Run is a bargain.


I saw the entire X-Files series box set for £45. It includes the movies too.

Even though I've had that set for years now, I've still not watched Once Upon A Time In Mexico. I've not watched Desperado from that set either, though I did see it when it came out. I was not a fan.

Desperado is the best of them tbh. EL Mariachi I found kinda boring and Mexico was, well, it suffered with too much budget for a director who was a master of low budgets.

For me, El Mariachi is easily my favourite of the two. As I said, still not seen 'Mexico'

I have the exact same region 2 dvd set. It still looks good except for the season 6 episode Triangle which hasn't been mastered properly. I heard 20th Century Fox fixed this for later pressings, but it may have just been for the American market. You should check out your copy to see if you've been lucky.

I've made it to episode 8 of season 1 "Ice" so far. Will be carrying on tomorrow with ep 9 "Space".


I'll have to let you know when I get to Triangle... probably sometime on Saturday

Wow, that's some marathon. It took my wife an I over six months to get through the entire thing.

I've done ok I think... 8 episodes in 6 hours.


I just can't believe how young the cast looks in the first season.


Anderson's weird though, she went from frumpy and chubby faced and looking like a woman who still lives at home with Mom, to a seriously cute and rather hot fiery haired FBI Agent in the space between "Pilot" and "Squeeze".
