R rating is just a gimmick to make people buy a new version of something they already have. The idea of making those Hobbit movies even longer is absurd.

The idea of making those Hobbit movies even longer is absurd.
Especially since the book itself, is 3/4 less than the size of one of The Lord of Rings books. I never had any interest in seeing the Hobbit films for some reason, The LOTR trilogy to me was enough.

Funny thing is, a lot of what was cut from the theatrical version and now reinserted into the extended version happens to be scenes that actually happened in the book, while they left many scenes in the theatrical which wasn't even in the book.

So basically they are extending the film with footage that should have been there from the start lol

But of course, the third film I don't think will have a lot of scenes from the book, since the entirety of the film are made from 2-3 pages of story in the original novel.

I have to return some videotapes.
Is it just me or does the guy on the right on Paper Towns look exactly like younger Dustin Hoffman?
