Rate The Last Movie You Saw

There are plenty of well loved and well respected films that I hate, but if you see me giving a low rating to something or saying that I hate it, you can be assured that I've based my statements on the entire movie and not just a fraction of it.
Didn't you stop The Good the Bad and the Ugly halfway through as well?

No. I suffered through the whole thing.

The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
Watched half of it. I hated the protagonists for their despicable morals, low life behavior
That's the point

I had to leave the theater with around 45 minutes left of Mad Max. I was that disgusted by it
Around the 50 minute mark Christian Bale comes on screen as Patrick Bateman and saves the day. So you should have stayed.

I said before that I couldn't give a review though to be fair to the movie because I did that, but I did see enough for me to solidify my opinion on it.
Say what, so you didn't even finish it?

Damn. The best part is the last 30 minutes.

I have to return some videotapes.

More action porn? I'll find a free stream for it and suffer through it if it means so much.

Thursday Next's Avatar
I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
I can understand why somebody would find The Wolf of Wall Street morally repugnant. Sure, we're supposed to hate them for their despicable behaviour, but at the same time the film spends a lot of time finding this same behaviour entertaining. There are times when you're not sure whether the film is laughing at them or with them, the irony is so thin that I wonder whether at some points the film (and by extension we as the audience) becomes complicit in its misogyny, gay-bashing, dwarf throwing, and 'aren't drugs and excess actually really cool and hilarious' exploits. The fact that Belfort is making money out of this makes you wonder who is having the last laugh.

That said, I do think people ought to watch films all the way if their rating is going to have any meaning and value.

Gooble gobble, one of us!

Watched half of it. I hated the protagonists for their despicable morals, low life behavior and the film lacked realism, I thought.

Your review is fairy dust, ITS NOT ****ING REAL!

Wait, what? I stayed for all but 45 mins. I smell a lie.

This should've been you when you began to question whether you should get up and leave or not:

Welcome to the human race...
Man, did I miss some Kingsman bashing? I should keep an eye on this thread more often. Also, yeah, while I understand wanting to stop a movie, I still reckon that you can't really rate it if you don't experience the whole thing.

As for the last movie I saw...

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen -

Be sure to check the inevitable review.
