Three points.

Three motherf***ing points.

I've been stewing over this crap for two months now and all this time I've been blaming Gatsby, but it turns out it wasn't just his fault. I'm looking at you Christine!!
nooooooooooooooo! Vicky I'm never going to live with the shame. Don't hate me for ever!

You've done an amazing job on this Vicky. I've loved reading all the stats and the snippets of info, it must've taken you so much time. I can only apologise to Up lovers for forgetting to include that wonderful film on my list, but Toy Story is fantastic too so not too much harm done

Lord High Filmquisitor
Both are absolutely fantastic films, even if neither were near my #1 pick. Up suffered from the same downside as WALL-E: an incredible first portion chased by a noticibly weaker (although still great) second portion. Toy Story simply disn't measure up to its competition (especially its sequels).

No worries, ***** happens.

It was just so frustrating to see it be so close yet still not make it. For all the MoFo lists I've participated in, I've never had one of my picks make it to number one.

The Brave Little Weeman Returns!
Up was my #2, it's the pinnacle of everything Pixar has achieved over the years, and I fear they will never top it. The story itself is relatively straightforward, but the execution! The magic! The tears (oh, god, the tears). Up works on so many levels. It's wonderous, and truly deserves its spot as runner-up. Toy Story is wonderful, but didn't make my list for a number of reasons, including the fact I prefer 2.

Great job on the list, Vicky, flawlessly run

I'm interested in knowing how many points Sword in the Stone and Castle of Caglistro had when you've the time, Miss Vicky.
I'm at work right now and won't be off until around 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time, so I'll have a look at my notes and let you know later tonight.

Anybody else who would like to know about specific films not already covered, feel free to ask and I'll answer them tonight as well.

Was I the only one that voted for Titan A.E.
I don't have my notes right now and I'll give you a more accurate answer later, but at least one other person voted for it.

A system of cells interlinked
Was I the only one that voted for Titan A.E.
Nope!

I really like Titan A.E., and it was on my list.

In fact, here is my entire list:

Ghost in the Shell
Princess Mononoke
Perfect Blue
Akira
A Scanner Darkly
Wings of Honnaimaise
Watership Down
Heavy Metal
Grave of the Fireflies
Waking Life
The Secret of Nimh
Titan A.E.
Up
Spirited Away
Waltz With Bashir
Ninja Scroll
Fantasia
The Incredibles
More (Short Film)
Battle Angel Alita
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
Wizards
Cars
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Jungle Book

In retrospect, my affinity for cyberpunk/dark animation clearly won out over any sort of objective take in the genre itself. I think that is just fine, btw.

So yeah...Wings of Honnaimaise not making it...I presume it stems from lack of exposure in both recent pop culture and on this here movie site. There are no mecha here...no over-the-top acid-dreams...no svelte assassin chicks choking people with their own neckties. This is a simple story of two factions on the brink of war, and a man with a dream to get into space for the first time ever. Just a great, complete, touching story. If you haven't seen this one, or have perhaps been turned off by some of animations more bombastic titles, give this one a shot.

Titan A.E. - Not as surprised this didn't make the cut, but I still like this one a lot. This flick has stellar animation work in it, and a somewhat outdated soundtrack that still works in places, but might turn some folks off. Yes, it has two big names in the lead voice roles, and to many purists, this was chaff, but I am a fan!

Ninja Scroll - Again, I am a little stumped here, but I guess I get why this didn't make it. In the 90s, in the rave scene, this thing was legendary. It's gory, brutal, and WAY over the top. It also totally rocks. Ninja Scroll is anime, sure, but it was incredibly well known and VERY popular in the 90s. Surprised it didn't place at all.

Anyway - Great job, all! Thanks to Ms. Vicky for all her hard work through all this.
