Shrek was original, funny.
A twist in the Fairy Tale lore and was a fun ride.

Shrek 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and the half million Christmas Specials and Sing-A-Longs are just a series of seeing how far they could milk it.
Shrek 2 is the better of the sequels etc, but not a patch on the first.

The Iron Giant was my number 18. I haven't seen it fully in a while, but I saw a bit of it recently and it reminded me of how great it is and why I loved it so much growing up. I remember I used to watch it repeatedly, and then draw images from the film, mainly the iron giant itself.

Shrek is okay. I thought it was decent when it came out, an interesting take on the fairy tale world. But I wouldn't really want to watch it again now.

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
The Iron Giant was my #9. It's a wonderful homage to '50s sci-fi and E.T. I loved it from the first minute I saw it the first time in the theatre. Some memories include "Strange Invaders!"; the raccoon and the zipper; the giant's eyes blinking above the trees; the "Duck and Cover" and "Brain from Planet Arous" tributes; the power station; the first time you see the hand; the hand in the bathroom; the car horn won't shut off; the cannonball - I'm going to stop before I blab about Bambi, tanks, nukes... Oops!

Shrek was fun but got axed before my list was finalized.

I reckon that because of the large amount of users submitting a list, an American production will win, one of Toy Story, Up or WALL-E. I'm pretty sure that Spirited Away will be the highest foreign film.

Pleased to see The Iron Giant in there. I figured it would be showing up soon. I love Shrek but wasn't sure if it would make the Top 20 and alas it did not. Very eager to see what makes the final stretch.

You can't make a rainbow without a little rain.
I thought The Iron Giant made the bottom part of my list, but I just checked my notes and apparently it was cut in the last round of cuts. I loved the movie, and I'm thrilled to see that it made it this high on the list without my help.

I liked Shrek when I first saw it, but it didn't stand the test of time for me. I still like it, but not enough to make my list.

Since I love classical music, I should love Fantasia but I never did. I think's it's a good movie but it never wowed me for some reason. The Sorcerer's Apprentice segment is wroth a
but the others I thought were only a
or
.

I'll give Fantasia a
overall.
