HotD was a pretty cool homage to 70s/early 80s horror... Innkeepers was a good modernized take on gothic horror although a bit too drawn-out and needing more scares. Anyway, West is a talented director and I'll always find time for his work. I expect it will be a bit on the "slow, classy" side of the horror spectrum but that's okay because he knows how to create mood/atmosphere and build suspense.
