5 more minutes for coffee, 3 for last-minute preparations and I say reveals are good for 3pm my time then

Is this a hidden clue?
Not really, but I'm loving the enthusiasm.

Already had my cup o' coffee, so let's get this puppy running! 3 pm then?

I feel like the Kool Aid man is saying "Are you not entertained?"
More like, "hey, hey! I'm hereee!!"

*eyes clock: 3:07pm
*hunkers down in abject disappointment

Balls. I definitely thought it was V but I thought the movie was forgotten.
Well, you did nail the other one...

Gladiator and Million Dollar Baby I'll go with.
If you had posted your thoughts, you would've won THE PRIZE!!

Welcome to the human race...
No votes. Despite the strength of the source material and the behind-the-scenes involvement of the Wachowskis, I have never been able to get on board with the film version of V for Vendetta (though I can at least be thankful that it managed not to mishandle the Valerie sequence). I've seen Million Dollar Baby once and thought it was middling (as I do with a lot of Eastwood's work), though I have been meaning to revisit it.

I sort of watched V for Vendetta years ago but fell asleep through part of it. I wasn't enjoying the parts I was awake for though and never tried it again.

I haven't seen Million Dollar Baby. It just doesn't strike me as my kind of movie at all.

Ok, hint breakdown... the one I thought would be more obvious was the constant use of V words. I thought that would be a dead give-away but well...

Hint, hint...

WARNING: spoilers below

Oh, the stories of underdogs (both films deal with underdogs, obvious)
Who fight valiantly forever (both fight Valiantly, get it?)
Against virile machismo (Hillary Swank has to fight prejudice for being a woman)
or vile government, "never!" (V against, well, government)

Remember their feats (Remember, remember...)
Victorious or not (none of them really "win, win", but well)
against treasonous vipers (V has to fight against treason)
or with illness fraught (Swank against an illness later)

Putting gloves or masks on (Guy Fawkes' masks and boxing gloves)
you fight your way through (fight, fight)
Against men and vixen (self-explanatory, but the most important is the use of another V word)
or villains and crew (again, V all the way)

Easy, peasy...
