Agree about Departed, that was my prediction for highest film last time not to make it.
If the Social Network hasn't made it by now I don't think it will.
We had 1 animation show up in 2010 at #95 (Spirited Away). Wall E didn't make it despite coming out in 2008 but it makes it high this time? Plus Up? We've already had 3.

Kane could be a cut too. Or Chinatown. Hard to say I would have thought all would make but just not enough room. I'll be even more truly shocked if something not on that list would make it.

You've missed The Titfield Thunderbolt off too .... can probably drop The Good, The Bad And The Ugly to make room for it. Just in this thread alone there's been more chatter about TTT than TGTBATU I think
The Thing is not on the 2010 list so it'd need a massive jump.

Look at the numbers. At this point for a film to make the cut it can't be on just four or five lists but on nine or ten or fifteen or twenty. That five members on this site may really like say The Master, that is not going to be enough. It's going to take them plus six or eight other MoFos. If twelve people had The Master on their ballots I will be very, very surprised.
