Gosh, I've been using a Dell desktop computer for years. I even got it refurbished. Handles my gaming, my desktop book layouts, everything, pretty much. And it was cheeeeap. Upgraded the RAM and the graphics card early on, but otherwise haven't had to touch a thing. 

And yes, I still use a computer, PW! How does a professional do page layout on a freakin' phone? :D[/quote]

Recommended to me by a friend who's a computer forensics expert. I told him what I was looking for, and he picked this one out. It's exceeded my expectations. (I previously thought Dell was horrible, BTW, and had never bought one before.) Under $400 four years ago and I have no plans to buy a new one anytime soon. Still more than pulling its weight.
