I had to decide how I was really going to use the new laptop. [B]MOST[/B] of the time a Chromebook would have been enough. But every so often I need to use InDesign while on vacation (doing the church bulletin from afar, for instance) or want to use Scrivener. 

And the Asus was really inexpensive so I let that be the deciding factor. The good news is that the older MacBook Pros I'll be selling on eBay (two!) will net me enough money to pay for the Asus.[/quote]
