I have a good friend who's a computer forensics expert. Sometimes I get to proofread his court filings for various cases. Hate to tell you this, but good luck TRULY wiping any computer clean if they bring in a computer forensics expert. :D[/quote]
Well this sounds disturbing. I mean I do know some stuff about the hardware memory and how it leaves traces of files and what not. I'm really surprised that just formatting wouldn't do the trick though. I know there are a lot of formatting methods, and that each one of them deletes data differently but, that's pretty interesting still, that they can trace that much! Although I would think the rest of the research should need the help of the internet provider. Stuff like what docs he sent with his email and other stuff 👀 shouldn't be possible to find with just hardware...or so I'd like to believe[/quote]
