The Shoutbox
the joke, was inside. i had a coworker years back that mostly lived on the same cosmic wavelength as me. we were always playing random trivia trying to stump the other. i'm not exaggerating by saying that i could ask him, "hey coworker guy, what was the name of that movie?" that's it. no other reference. he would stop coding tilt his head, scanning the internal rolodex of memories and archived movie reference and respond, "uh.... Predator?" (or whatever his guess was) and dang if it wasn't exactly the movie he guessed that I was thinking of. That actually happened, just the details are a bit fuzzy. for sure his name wasn't Coworker Guy.
nah. more in line with Prince. Slow. Few organ chords on repeat. I think it was a female vocalist, but no real lyrics that I could decipher. just bluesy howls. i don't even think there were drums. just the organ and a slightly driving bass. it was playing at lunch now i can't stop obsessing.

btw, my last shout was more a joke but you responded lol, so i'm dumping it all here. mostly procrastinating at work. probably. but dang, i wish i knew the name of the track.
Wake Up by Rage Against the Machine? Totally!
so uh... anyone recognize that song?

Iced tea>Coffee
Hot chocolate > Coffee
I drink a lot of coffee. Peet's is my favorite brand you can buy at your local supermarket. For specialty brands, I really like 1000 Faces...and not just because my brother works there.
