The Shoutbox
Even as one of my favorite movies, I can't help but agree. That intro right up to riding in a convertible was just bad lol. Gopher-chucks kinda brought me back. Then Master Tang swallowing the fly solidified things for me and I could enjoy it at that point on. It is definitely NOT for everyone lol.

wee-oh-weeeee-oooooh-wweeee!!!
Kung Pow is so aggressively stupid at points, but there are a handful of moments in there that are among the funniest things I've ever seen.

I suggest Kung Pow! and/or Pootie Tang. Which one you start with prolly depends on what mood you're in at the moment.

I watched it last night, enjoyed it just as much as the first time around! To me it remains the most idiosyncratic Kaufman script, even after Adaptation & Synecdoche, New York.
I'll have to check out Synecdoche, I saw some of it once on TV and had no clue what was going on.

Being John Malcovich was funnier than I remember, perhaps I could appreciate it a lot more as an adult than I could in my late teens.
What movie should I watch
No pain, no gain. Sounds like you are progressing nicely.
Every part of my body hurts right now. Hooray for another year
