I think the most I ever squat was 150ish, but I have chicken legs.
I used to spend 2 hours in the gym every day back in college, but that was when I didn't have a life.
Until I get a cage, I'm using a modified version.

I understand the social aspect/appeal to people of gyms. There may be a lack a space at home as well.

Yea, I found that out after a few weeks. Once I stepped up to the correct weight on squats, it was laughable how far under I was using the dumbbells.
If you ain't lifting heavy you might as well go home.

Oh wait, you're already at home. It's a conundrum!

I have a bench and squat rack. I was using dumbbells for a while, but they were way too light for squats. Now that i have a full bar and the rack, I am seeing more progress.
My pancreas? Like a boss.
