I was given my first one in 2010. A dual tuner Series 2 that I "hacked" with a 2TB hard drive. We could have recorded TV 24/7 for 10 weeks. It wasn’t HD but the interface and experience was light years ahead of the POS Motorola DVR the cable company was providing at the time.[/quote]
