If I'm listening to something, it's a podcast or 1 of 5,000 songs I already know I really love.

I listen to some new music, but none of it is topping any Spotify playlists.

I'm not gonna piss on new music, cuz I don't really listen to any.

I would guess that the ability to make songs with a drumpad and computer removes a lot of the musical training that used to be involved by people playing instruments.
Of course, the 80's stuff and NuWave will always be my choice. Hard to shake your childhood.
Then you take Fleetwood Mac and even if you don't like them, artistically they are great.

Pop
I don't think there is any way to be fair and balanced on pop music.

The 60's music that is technically pop seems to have more substance than each following decade.
