Oh God, no - please don;t take my word..I was just mentioning it as an aside really...like I said..I cannot remember anything about it..or are you referring to Pollack?

Because Pollack was good - if you don;t mind substituting drama for the process of creating art, because that's what that movie succeeds at, imo.

Yep, and I don't remember a thing about it..but..I just revisitied Pollack, and that was starring and directed by Harrris..and he learned to apitn, and studied on JP's work for over 10 yrs so...it was a feat of a film, and focuses on the process more than the melodrama..I'm sorry...we're talkign about Beethoven..yeah..dont remember a thing

I thought F murray Abraham was incredible. The writing...kind of fell into that 1980's style trap a few times (probably to modernize it enuf to appeal to the new wave crowd? - no idea), but as a movie experience about the high art of music in the classical realm, I really cannot think of any others that hit me the same way, if at all....still need to revisit Ed Harris as Beethoven.
