Beautiful sunny morning.
I'm guessing Gator and White Lightning are connected somehow.

If only there was an agent proficient in Burt Reynolds...
Right now on TCM - "Vertigo" and other movies starring Jimmy Stewart
Another HoF winner :-)
At my job, I'm the one covering every time someone gets ill. People with kids often get it from their kids, who getvit from sick kids sent to school. Vicious cycle.

Sure some will take the piss.
To be claro , I can only speak from my experiences.

A lot of places try to run so lean nowadays, that they don't have "fill-in" people. Add somebody laying out or on vacation and it really messes things up.

If you have insurance (especially with a flex account) the doctor note goes a long way. This day and age, you can basically pay a doctor to write you a note regardless.
That's why I mentioned to bring a doctor's note.
I assume the main problem is an employer not being able to tell whether or not someone is sick, or just "calling in sick."

All the p.c. / h.r. stuff aside, you are expected to come work.

No one will ever tell you that, but that's why I'm here.

It's a good litmus test for the new employee though. If they keep their job, it means they like you.
Very screwed up. So everyone gets to suffer illness because 1 person isn't able to take 2 days off. Ridiculous.

All depends what’s in your friend’s employment agreement.
