Young Guns 2, an 18 rated movie, playing at 6:45pm on a Sunday.
They've stuck it in a 2 hour 15 minute slot as well, and it's only 1 hour 50.

So at least 3/4 of the movie will need edited out because it's not suitable for the time of day it's being shown... meaning they need to fill the 2h15 slot, with at least 1h45m of adverts.
I never watch movies on cable over here because of that. 2 hour movies are always given 3 hour blocks on channels like FX and TNT. No way, rather rent them if I don't own them.
My point though is playing a movie that's not suitable for that time of day... and editing out most of it.

If I advertised a Ford Focus for sale... took payment... and delivered a Ford Focus steering wheel only. No chassis, engine etc etc, JUST the steering wheel only... I would get done.

Why the hell they do it is beyond me.
I've seen loads of movies played at sill times of day and it all gets cut out.
The Addams Family was on earlier as well, 11am in fact... most of it was cut out.

I'm generally not a fan of action adventure movies with no brain, that's why I couldn't stand Jurassic World
Life looks fine, but nothing new there
Skull Island does not look like my kind of movie, so probably won't waste time on it
Thinking about going and watching Skull Island and Life in a bit.... don't know yet.
I've only been here a month, got no idea who this even is :P
Damn I missed all the imdb drama

Can someone give me a tldr, summary?
"I lack the time to list everything"

Such a good turn of phrase.
Good riddance.
