Right. In Zotis case though, he very clearly liked to instigate you. He couldn’t just leave something alone, and even when warned he had to push back like he was making some huge point. The topic about hate was a very odd hill to die on, and as Iro already stated, ironic
What's that old saying? When people show you who they are, believe them.
I usually don't believe them the first few times. The downside is a lot of needless hostility and distraction from more productive discussions. The upside is a totally clear conscience when I finally have to make the decision.

Yeah, very often in these situations things are better in the wake of a warning or ban (with assurances it won't be the same going forward), but it usually decays quickly and sometimes it's even worse than before. Almost without exception I end up letting people go through this cycle several times, even though after a couple it's abundantly clear it isn't going to change.

Our conversations in the “riot in us” thread is A good example where we avoided insulting each other, and not being condescending for the sake of of it. While we didn’t agree, we never really crossed any lines where the other person left personally insulted by the other (for the most part).
And if it seemed like it was getting slightly heated, we walked away before it got worse.

But, if all your sugar-free stuff has aspartame, that's a lot of aspartame. See if you can find brands/off-brands that use Splenda or stevia. (I think I remember that you don't care for stevia, though.)
I gotta get back off the aspartame wagon. That stuff is so bad.
4C has a really good lemonade that has Splenda instead of aspartame. Gotta go order me some...

Don’t need specifics of his case Specifically , obviously, but the violations that could lead to it.
