Vicky's correct on both counts. Most of the time it's because the post is deleted (it's "soft" deleted so we still have copies/proof, if it's ever required), and occasionally it's because of something sent privately. The latter's pretty rare though.[/quote]

I can't think of anything offhand. If someone's a member in good standing I'll usually just remove it and issue a warning. Insta-bans usually only happen for a) spam or b) someone who posts something awful almost immediately after signing up. In every case with a long-term member there's been a lot of ramp-up and plenty of opportunities to avoid it.[/quote]
