When people visit NYC they usually stay in Manhattan. Flushing is the last station on the #7 subway line and it's quite a hike out there. (I met my husband in Flushing and went there millions of times.) To me, it would be like staying in London south of the River Thames - most tourists would want to be north of the Thames. Just for convenience and to be close to everything.

We stayed there for a week. It was great. Brand new hotel overlooking the tennis stadium, chinatown galore, feet massages every day. Why, what;s wrong with flushing? We found it very cruisy.[/quote]
