OK. So thinking more on this maybe I misread the meaning. I do, often, watch movies that are good and find myself enjoying it right up until a character does some irrational out of character, writer-driven action to move the plot forward. THAT crap pulls me right out. It's never really acting though. Just, once I realize the fictional world I'm watching is altered by some outside presence (writer/director) that normal would never happen in that world based on whatever rules are laid out so far, I can't get back into any of it.[/quote]
