It had a great screenplay and an excellent cast, all giving strong performances. I found it entertaining, gripping and inspiring. Trial of The Chicago 7 is better than Mank for sure and much better than several other Oscar nominees and even past winners.
I think the screenplay was great too and the cast was excellent but It looked more like a made for tv movie. Which it may have intentionally shot as. This was no cinematographic gem. And If that is what Lord Whis is getting at. I concur.
