This just confused the hell out of me. As someone that cooks pretty well, roast duck, baking and all, I am gobsmacked to learn people refrigerate eggs in the US. Never done that in my life, though I’m quite paranoid about food safety. Shame I can’t post a U.K. supermarket shelf photo here where they sit happily next to sweets and whatnot.
