The Godzilla sound effects alone will be worth it.

Sidenote: Did it really take this long for somebody to figure out how to put Kaiju on the screen?

@ GDT and his Pacific Rim movie.
No joke, best argument for IMAX (or the LIEMAX thing we apparently have here) is that it helps it not matter as much if people talk during the movie.
IMAX now with 26% more picture and 26% less kids.

I’d pay top dollar for that
I've got a good feeling about new member naturalmattresses, really hoping they spring a surprise on us and their number one favourite movie turns out to be Insomnia
John Wick was the only questionable IMAX movie I have ever seen. It wasn't shot in IMAX as far as I could tell, but utilized the capabilities of the sound system.

The Mustang scene redeemed it partially. Still felt like a scam in light of that.
For clarity, IMAX 2D .

I will probably never watch a 3D movie again, until VR hits the cinema or home theater.
I can't justify it often, but the culmination of 10 years time invested in a franchise helped.

The brightness, clarity and the sound you can feel are key selling points.

There was one scene *spoilers* where a superhero flies up and through something that was magnificent. The scale and scope of the shot was something else.

I had another revelation from my trip to the movies last night.

I will pass on seeing John Wick: Parabellum in IMAX (unless they can guarantee me a car on a airstrip scene). I probably will pass on Dark Phoenix, let alone in IMAX.

But man oh man, I'm there for Godzilla for the price of a nice meal.
Can we commodify actors? Seems fair.

I've been selling Will Smith for years. Then there is the Genie stuff, can't even short-sell this stuff.

Gemini Man has me in the middle of setting up an E*Trade account.
