I distinctly remember [i]Summer Heights High[/i] being a genuine nationwide phenomenon when I was in high school (I really did not care for it myself) but I couldn't speak to any of his more recent shows having that same level of success (but then again, I am really out of step with what's popular with the locals). Getting validation from overseas certainly gave him a much longer shelf life even though people have been giving him sh*t over his racial caricatures for years but then again this country's already pretty racist so...[/quote]
