It can be, yes. I'm not kidding about spending can entire summer on it. It's slow to get into as we're a lot of these console RPGs from then. And the dungeons REQUIRE maps to not lose your mind.  I love the game but if you want to test old RPGs, give Chrono-trigger a go. It's a more playful character set and a bit more dynamic gameplay.[/quote]Believe me, I know Chrono Trigger.  Probably my favorite JRPG and maybe overall video game, having played it on SNES, PS and on my cell phone (during meetings...don't shame me).  I still dream about living in 12,000 B.C.[/quote]

Back then, I had the cartridge and spent my entire 8th grade summer (may be wrong on the exact year) leveling through that game, dungeon after dungeon and finally made it to Mother Brain.
