I tried to grill some rare steaks the other day but sadly I could only get common ones from the butchers

Haven't in a while, but I did attempt to cook Black Pepper Chicken last night and it was friggin awesome!
DQ may be top of my list, unless Checkers/Rally's crew make an actual effort to not overload up their fry vat, shake the grease off before dumping, AND bother to season them. In those ever so rare occurrences, then Checkers gets top mark. I can't touch Micky-Ds "food" anymore.

years ago, Wendy's put some kind of seasoning on their fries that looked like Old Bay Seasoning. This was the late 90s and I never understood why they stopped. Or at least the ones around here. Most fast food drive-thru joints here don't even bother to salt their fries anymore.
Gravy.
You’re not wrong. Dairy Queen is a solid 3rd place.

And there’s a local joint that has the best beer battered fries. Little ranch and I’m in heaven.
If you're going "only when fresh" then Wendy's is tied with McD's. They may get the edge because they are thicker.
