Plus, the number of businesses that have had to shutter because they can’t compete has got to be in the tens of thousands, which means hundreds of thousands of jobs.
I mean, their 2 day shipping has created expectations across every industry, and the infrastructure demands to deliver at that speed have created so much disruption. I hate to think how much CO2 levels have been affected by the 2 day shipping expectations we live with today.

And that’s not even getting started with how they handle our data. Evil to the core, man.
Amazon has always been evil. I’m just more vocal about it now.

Besides, it technically was defective because the advertised feature that I bought it for didn’t function the way it was advertised, but that’s not a return option because Amazon is evil.

How did we get from Amazon having bad return options to "Amazon is Evil?"
And I will also add that is the only time I have ever done that.
And $30 is more than a few dollars. That’s equivalent to a 20% restocking fee.

I shouldn't have to fib just to return something.
You should have to pay the return shipping if you agreed to that during the purchase and the item was not defective. So you lied and said it was defective, not cool! Not only did you rip the seller for the return shipping, but now they think the item is damaged and so it's a loss. Don't be buying stuff and claiming it's broke just to save yourself a few dollars.
