Amazon has always been evil. I’m just more vocal about it now.

Besides, it technically was defective because the advertised feature that I bought it for didn’t function the way it was advertised, but that’s not a return option because Amazon is evil.

How did we get from Amazon having bad return options to "Amazon is Evil?"
And I will also add that is the only time I have ever done that.
And $30 is more than a few dollars. That’s equivalent to a 20% restocking fee.

Not a chance.
Best gif ever! +1!

I shouldn't have to fib just to return something.
You should have to pay the return shipping if you agreed to that during the purchase and the item was not defective. So you lied and said it was defective, not cool! Not only did you rip the seller for the return shipping, but now they think the item is damaged and so it's a loss. Don't be buying stuff and claiming it's broke just to save yourself a few dollars.

Thankfully, I found out there's a UPS Store about 15 minutes away from work, but that is still NOT ideal.

I have stopped buying a LOT of stuff on Amazon because they have become so anti-customer of late.

I can't stand them.
But like, we have our own post office here at work. So it's complete bullshit that I get penalized for trying to return something.
