True, but considering some of the more obscure titles that did end up making the list I would've thought at least one of hers would've made it on there for reasons other than "sharing the same name as the movie where Juliette Binoche makes chocolate".

I love Denis' stuff but she seems to be a niche filmmaker, even in film fan circles.
And @Holden Pike thought he was disappointed when nobody else voted for Trouble Every Day in the horror countdown.
I watched Beau travail the other day and it made me remember how the only Claire Denis film to crack the "films directed by women" list did so entirely by accident.
