It will have a minor speed up effect but I mostly think that one of the more advance graphics features could be messing with FRAPS. You will probably need to find a new recording app, though. I doubt the FRAPS team is going to release an update for Windows 10.

Thanks, GF! So, is this to just speed up my system? I may end up trying VM. If it can run on my win10 as win7 and all of the programs i use on win7, most importantly FRAPS screen record, then I'm happy. I dont use it to steal, btw lol. It's for tutorials and the like for clients who shoot their own footage and or starters on editing in adobe. But it also helps with re amping my own clips on the fly. TMI, I know
