I get very stabby with people who give spoilers.

I started binging The Shield but the guy on imdb who recommended it to me had a drug fuelled meltdown one night and gave me the spoiler for the ending, so I thanked him for saving me the binge watch and kicked his ass good bye. I havent watched it since.
The Shield was a very good show on FX. But no bad language was allowed and this made it unreal for me. Cops in L.A. and nobody has a potty mouth? I much prefer a show like The Sopranos where "f" words abound.
Yes I understand they had to make the show coarse language wise otherwise it would seem hallmrky, but I just found I ws waiting for the next f bomb.

I think it bothered me for the first few episodes. But then suddenly it didn't. I think it was the oddly lyrical nature of the dialogue. So complex (even the idiot characters) and so well written that I forgave them all the potty words. I think the balance of Shakespearean rhythms and potty language made it fascinating. Without all the F-bombs it would have seemed too prissy to be a western.

ANYWAYS.... (If you are a fan of the show, you'll get that "ANYWAYS..." comment.)

Yes it is. I'm sitting in the sandpit right now.
