Funny, that. I was speaking with someone from Thailand years back and they kept saying "try go noma try" when referring to a college course. I kept asking what they were trying to say. Eventually, they said, "ummm. yew know. umm... maths?"
I might be quite good at English for a non-native speaker, but I still come across words that I mispronounce. Think "menagerie". I pronounced it the French way, if you will. Some borrowed words are pretty confusing, too, until you actually learn how to pronounce them the right way. For example, "deja vu" is pronounced "deja voo" instead of "deja vee". Same goes for "menu". This might seem quite obvious for a native speaker, but since those words also exist in Polish, and we pronounce them the same way Frenchmen do, it's mighty confusing when you first attempt to pronounce them in an English sentence. Another example would be "busy". Quite a basic word that almost everybody pronounces right, because we've heard how to pronounce it right. But come to think of it, why isn't it pronounced "bussy". Oh right, then it would sound too much like...

Hear, hear. It’s my native language and I duck it up everyday.

English is a bitch when it comes to pronunciation.

I Love Lucy is ILL!

(See, I can be hip when I want to)
I'm watching I Love Lucy. It's quite amusing.
I have my reasons for eating before bed. How else will you ever see a battalion of Tyrannosaurus Rex 🦖 paratroopers 🪂 descend upon your home. Good times. Carrots and peanut butter are wild!

Probably just easier than bothering with the licensing/ratings board.
Makes sense, I guess. It's just weird how some titles I looked up just straight up had the "not available in your location" message on their page in the first place, which gave me the impression that any titles without that message were therefore available only for me to get told otherwise once I actually tried to rent them. Still, it's not like I don't have a shortlist in the quadruple digits anyway.
