I've just had the old eBay double whammy.

Sold my Chromecast (made a profit on it actually, which is weird) but the buyer's gone to ground and won't pay. The money from the Chromecast was going towards a new mouse ... and the seller went strangely silent after it didn't turn up.

The moment it crosses 100 the "Check Engine" light comes on. Heh.
That's weird. My recollection is that we sold that Corsica up here to some guy who buys cars for parts (once it was really run into the ground). Did you give it back to us when you bought the Buick?

I noticed something while I was browsing through the 100 laughs checklist. The film To Be or Not To Be has the year 1983 on it while the actual film that was on the AFI list was made in 1942.
Back in the says when I had money, I owned a succession of fast cars. Perks of the job, I guess, because I could buy things at trade prices then sell them on easily.

The scariest (not the most powerful, though) was an Impreza WRX, one of these things.

Had to sell it after 6 months because it would have lost me my driving license. It's the only car I've owned that just wouldn't keep beneath the speed limit, no matter how hard I tried.

Used the money to buy a 20 year old Porsche 928 which was a lovely big lazy beast of a car. The wife hated it because of the interior - Milk chocolate coloured leather and an aircon that smelled faintly of death.

I wish I'd kept it.
