Oh. And morning. (i guess).

But yeah, that tweet thing is crazy. Support protests from one guy and all of NBA is blocked? I heard his morning on NPR that China is like 10% of NBA's income. Tricky line to straddle, trying to present one's self as a progressive industry while profiting in not so progressive markets. I'm not sure you can have it both ways without a lot of compromised principles.
I put down my phone for a Homeless Guy once. I have to say the reception was horrible. He must have been an older model too because he was completely unresponsive to my voice commands. "Homeless Guy: call Nigel." nada. Not even a beep for confirmation of access or an error message to tell me Homeless Guy need to access my contacts list for such voice commands to work. NOTHING! Don't even get me started on the shutdown I experienced just trying to play mobile Tetris! GAH!!
Hi all!
Or we can put down the phone and give the homeless guy at the light a buck.
I don't blame them either. Has anyone coined "paper justice warrior" yet?

When social justice on social media influences commerce.
There are so many angles to all this. One of the best is, "Professional athletes champion causes that don't affect their bottom line, but won't speak against China because of their bottom line.
Anybody wanna talk Daryl Morey? How one tweet changed the salary cap? How to become a lecture point in the new international business curriculum?
Power has stayed on thusfar at home and at work. Winds are supposed to be worse tomorrow. Going by the maps that have been provided, it doesn't look like my house will lose power. Don't know if the same will hold true for work.

I'd planned to go see Joker again this Saturday, but the theater lost power today and had to close. Hopefully they'll be back by the weekend.
