I can't argue any of that. I still get frustrated if I think on it. Regarding the Acrobat updates, at this point the only features we use and need to stay current on at the constant updates to 508 compliance and tagging standards. But if it's just PDF export, then I can't blame you for finding a one-time purchase option.

I'm currently upgrading my inexpensive 13" eBay MacBook Pro (High Sierra) for a newer, better 13" eBay MacBook Pro (Big Sur). Needed the newer OS to run one lousy piece of software, but won't mind having twice the RAM and twice the storage space, I guess.
