Happy Father's Day.
I've had my 2 Daughters all weekend which is why I've been quiet the past 2 days or so.
First time they've stayed at mine for a lengthy period, overnight, both at the same time.
Movies (introduced them to Waterworld) and showed them Gremlins 2 for the first time as well.
Note for all Dads out there... never underestimate how strong the bond is between Father and Daughter, when you sit and comb their hair after they've had a bath.
Out of many things I miss about being a Dad, doing their hair is one very, very special thing.
Every Dad should do it while they have the chance.

It's still worth questioning whether or not Logan really needs to be male. You'd think a premise about how people are effectively condemned to death after hitting a still-fairly-young age would have the kind of subtext that more accurately reflects what it's like to be a woman than a man (especially when it comes to professional capacities or Hollywood biases).
That said I'd have little interest in a remake no matter what they choose to do tbh.
Omg Matt, I fell asleep during my first viewing. My sambo was amped for it but I was dead tired so I couldn't help it. But ehen I finslly saw it, a good long while later, OMG. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG.
Last I heard, Nicolas Winding Refn was the one who was going to attempt a Logan's Run remake. I'm glad he passed it on because he's better off doing his own thing.
