Shoveling 5 inches of snow twice is way easier than shoveling 10 inches of snow. Plus, if you get the driveway uncovered and there’s even just a little bit of sunlight before the next layer then it’ll help warm the ground up just enough so less of it sticks.

When they call for 15+ inches of snow I will go out and shovel 3 times at least. This will sound crazy but if I had my choice of how to go out it would be from a massive heart attack while shoveling snow. Dead before I hit the snow. BOOM![/quote]

Our weather advisory here changed from expiring at 10 PM tonight, Sunday night to extending itself through Tuesday morning. Same amount of snow predicted, though. It's coming down really fine and really slowly... so currently (3:30 PM) the roads have been just wet and not snow-covered because it's taking so long to come down. Hubby left for work an hour ago and his parking spot in the driveway isn't even covered over with new snow yet.[/quote]
