I'm leaning towards the PreSonus because I have used them before, and I love their multi-track recording features.
My mixer is so old, the rubber covering on some of the knobs is starting to break down at a molecular level, congealing into a sticky goo.
I really only need 2 channels in, but I want growing room so I am looking at mixers with no more than 10 inputs.
Might go Allen & Heath or a PreSonus. I need to dig into it.
Haha, yeah, I do stuff like that too.

I had to dig really deep into the product online and that's when I came across people complaining about the USB-out on the mixer being super quiet.

That's like...the only reason I bought it. That and it was affordable.

I know this is kind of shifty, but I used to go buy a piece of gear I was thinking of using at guitar center. They have a 30 day return policy, so I would use it for a bit, see if it was the right fit, then return it. Then, if it was the right fit, I would buy it somewhere else that had a better price online.

Ha. That's neat.

Trying to find my niche and from all the research I have done livestreams of people "creating music" seems like a rich vein to tap.
