I might give it a chance in the future... but I know what happens accidentally reading something of Pauline Kael... There's just so many DVDs I have that I still haven't seen yet.
Too bad. It's a brilliant film.
Quickest movie you turned off? I would say Antonioni's "Blow-Up" was mine. Absolutely nothing happens in the first 45 minutes, I couldn't take it, and probably only gave it that much of a chance because of the name.
worst movie ever on the AFI Top 100?
Breaking Bad marathon. Every episode. In order. Starts tomorrow, Dec 28, at 10 AM on AMC.
ahhh, tramadol. that stuff's great. i have a tooth abscess.
Someone mentioned Tramadol, and I noticed how it doesn't kick in until after you get food.. Odd. It wasn't strong in the first place, I take norco for lower back (and neck and shoulder pains)..
He might not be my Top 5 or even Top 10 directors, but watching a John Cassavetes (sans Faces) is a pretty great experience.
Hey buddy. We're the Tramadol twins.

Boxin Day's rekt too...
Just seen your posts, Tacitus. Sorry to hear you've been in so much pain. My neck pain has me wondering whether to call off Boxing Day or not.

Woah, woah, woah. Santa Claus Conquers The Martians is wonderfully terrible. If that Jack Frost was the horror one (which it almost certainly wasn't) then that'd be a great choice, too. I like BJD, too, but I don't think of it as a Christmas film.
